Patagonia developed NetPlus® material in partnership with Bureo® to produce a sustainable alternative plastic source while simultaneously removing the most harmful plastic items from the ocean. Made from discarded fishing nets collected from coastal communities in South America, NetPlus® is used in a range of products from Patagonia’s hat brims and jackets to Costa sunglasses and Futures surf fins—even Jenga games.
